Raw Feeding Calculator For Dog's
Raw Feeding Extras
These products don't fall into the other sections but can be fed in addition to the formulation for dietary supplementation, enrichment or palatability purposes. No need to overthink these, simply pop them in your dog's bowl every now & again.
Feeding Calculator Disclaimer
This feeding calculator is based on a percentage of body weight method and is commonly used as a guideline in the raw feeding community. However, it is a guideline only and not a rule. Every dog is different and their food intake should be adjusted to maintain a lean, healthy body condition.
If your dog is underweight, increase their calories. If they’re overweight, reduce their calories.
Similarly, active or working breed dogs may need to be fed a higher percentage.
Always prioritise your dog’s health over any feeding guideline or chart.
You can start off with feeding a guideline for around a week and then reassess whether you feel your dog needs more or less food going forward.
Incorporating variety into your dog’s raw diet is crucial for ensuring balanced nutrition and supporting overall health. By rotating different ingredients you can provide a comprehensive range of amino acids and essential nutrients and avoid nutrient gaps.
Puppies
Your puppy may need more or less than the guidelines included. It is recommended to assess them weekly and feed them more or less depending on their body condition.
Pregnancy & Whelping
If you plan to feed your breeding bitch a fresh food diet, we recommend consulting a veterinarian experienced in fresh feeding and canine reproduction.
